All MPRB buildings will close at their standard time of 5 pm, today Saturday, Jan. 24. All MPRB ice rink warming houses will close at 5 pm today. Any permitted events after 5 pm today will be rescheduled. This excludes activities at Parade Ice Garden, Northeast Ice Arena and the U.S. Pond Hockey Championships at Lake Nokomis.
This decision was made to prioritize the safety of MPRB staff and the Minneapolis community.
