Canines for Clean Water is back!

Join in dog parties and movies at parks across Minneapolis

Annual series features dog-friendly community events to raise awareness around waste pickup and water quality in Minneapolis parks

Canines for Clean Water events feature activities for dogs and their humans, environmental education, giveaways, and more. Enjoy games, pose for pet portraits, and learn from local partners before a Movies in the Park screening at dusk. All events are free and open to everyone — with or without a pup!

Here are the remaining three 2025 Canines for Clean Water Events:

Thursday, July 31 – Loring Park Dog Show & Movie Night

Join us at the outdoor stage near the tennis courts for the 5th Annual Loring Park Dog Show! Prizes awarded for waggiest tail, best costume, silliest trick, and more, plus local vendors and community organizations with information and giveaways.

  • Dog show registration at 6:30 pm; competition at 6:45 pm
  • Canines for Clean Water activities: 6:30 – 8:15 pm
  • Movie: Lady and the Tramp (2019) at dusk (around 8:30 pm)

Thursday, August 21 – North Mississippi Regional Park

Canines for Clean Water activities: 6:30 – 8:15 pm
Movie: Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken at dusk (around 8:10 pm)

Thursday, August 28 – Bassett’s Creek Park

Canines for Clean Water activities: 6 – 8 pm
Movie: Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie at dusk (around 8:10 pm)
