Step into the action-packed world of a ’90s blockbuster at our adult grass volleyball tournament! Gather your squad, bring the intensity, and prepare for a day of high-flying spikes and unstoppable fun—because in this tournament, it’s game on or game over!
Saturday, June 14, 9 am-2 pm at McRae Park. Guaranteed three self-officiated games! Prizes for 1st, 2nd place, best costume theme and team name.

Tennis in your Park
Have fun, stay in shape, and meet new friends while playing the lifetime sport of tennis! We offer lessons for all levels: Beginner, Advanced Beginner, Intermediate, & Drill & Play. All classes are group lessons taught by USTA-trained instructors.
Park vs. Park Match Play
Match play series for adult social players at Advanced Beginner – Intermediate levels. Gain match play experience in a fun, team competition environment. Players will compete against other park teams in either singles or doubles.
Instructors are on-site to provide assistance with match pairings, scoring, court positioning, and strategy. Players will have either “home” or “away” matches each week at Lake Hiawatha, Linden Hills, Morgan, Pershing, and Powderhorn Park.

Pickleball Lessons
We offer two-hour, four-week lessons for a variety of skill levels: Intro to Pickleball, Intro to Pickleball 2, and Drill & Play.
Pickleball Clinics
These are one-time, two-hour clinics:
Coached While You Play: Want to take your game to the next level? Join this fast-paced 2-hour session and get real-time coaching during live gameplay from PCI Certified Instructor Will. Play live games while receiving on-the-spot tips to improve shot selection, positioning, strategy, and teamwork.
Drill & Play: This focused clinic is designed for players with prior pickleball experience who are ready to elevate their game through improved technique and smarter strategy. The session will emphasize refining mechanics for greater consistency and control, with targeted drills to sharpen each key shot.

Individual Registration
Looking to join a league but don’t have a team? Register as an individual to be placed on a house team! After registration, MPRB league directors will form teams from individual registrants.
6-on-6 and 11-on-11 leagues available in Open and Co-ed divisions.

Become a Sports Official
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is always looking to hire more officials for any of the sports listed above! Earn extra cash and stay involved in the sports you love! We offer free trainings throughout the year, competitive pay, and a flexible schedule.
Age Requirements: You must be 18 to officiate adult sports. People ages 14 and 15 can officiate games for youth ages 11U and under, and people ages 16 and 17 can officiate games for youth ages 15U and under
Scorekeepers and Court Supervisors
