Construction at Phelps Recreation Center will reduce building hours and access beginning April 7

Building will be open Monday-Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday-Saturday 12-5 pm during three-week construction project

Construction at Phelps Recreation Center begins Monday, April 7, 2025. Reduced building hours and access will be in effect during the project, which is expected to last three weeks, returning to normal operation by the week of April 28, 2025.

Building Hours

Monday-Thursday: 6-8 pm, front desk, classroom, and gym will be open.

Friday-Saturday: 12-5 pm, entire building will be open.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board appreciates the public’s patience while repairs are completed.
