Posted on 19 November, 2024The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is hiring officials right now for the upcoming basketball, broomball and ice hockey seasons!
Get trained and hired in one night! Attend a free training clinic listed below, no registration required, walk-ins welcome! If you can’t make a clinic or want to get a head start, head to the MPRB Officials page.
Age Requirements: You must be 18 to officiate adult sports. People ages 14 and 15 can officiate games for youth ages 11 and under, and people ages 16 and 17 can officiate games for youth ages 15 and under.
New MPRB Officials: Arrive by 6:30 pm for an onboarding presentation.
Returning Officials: Arrive by 7:00 pm for rules and mechanics.
At all clinics, officiating professionals will walk you through the rules, provide demonstrations, discuss expectations, certifications, hiring paperwork and other job requirements.
