Beach Advisories have been lifted.
Water samples taken on Monday, Aug., 5 indicate that conditions have improved since July 31, when the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) confirmed blue-green algae blooms at Lake Nokomis Main and Lake Nokomis 50th Street beaches.
Based on the test results, the MPRB will be removing advisory for both beaches at Lake Nokomis.
