Cedar-Edgewater Pilot Update and Townhall Meeting scheduled January 25, 7-8:30 pm

Discuss results from an intersection safety pilot at meeting on Thursday, January 25, 7-8:30 pm at Lake Nokomis Community Center

The City of Minneapolis, Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, and Hennepin County are partners in an effort to improve safety at the Cedar Avenue-Edgewater Boulevard-Lake Nokomis Parkway intersection. Last fall, a pilot project tested safety improvements at the intersection and collected data and community input about the changes.

This Cedar-Edgewater pilot project is complete, and now a public meeting to share results is scheduled on Thursday, Jan. 25, 2024, 7-8:30 pm, in the gym at Lake Nokomis Community Center, 2401 E. Minnehaha Parkway

At the meeting, staff from the agencies involved will discuss the findings from the pilot and survey and take additional feedback from the public. More information is available at the City of Minneapolis project page.
