Bryant Avenue Bridge over Minnehaha Creek is closed

City of Minneapolis found structural issues during inspection, bridge will remain closed while it is evaluated and repaired

The Bryant Avenue Pedestrian Bridge over Minnehaha Creek closed today, August 23, 2023, after a City of Minneapolis inspection found structural issues that need to be addressed.

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is working with City of Minneapolis Public Works and engineering experts to evaluate the bridge’s condition and create a plan to repair it. The bridge will remain closed until repairs can be completed.
