First Music and Movies in the Parks event held on July 11

Father Hennepin Bluff Park is open following a major renovation project that included a new performance stage and attached bathroom building, completely redone paths and park entry plazas, and upgraded lighting, landscaping and stormwater management.
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board sincerely appreciates everyone’s patience while these upgrades were constructed over the last year, especially during early summer when fencing remained in place to allow freshly planted grass and landscaping beds to establish before crowds return to the park. Please stay off of new plants, grass and garden beds and respect any signs and fencing still in place.
The popular riverside park will host weekly concerts on either Mondays or Tuesdays at 7 pm through the end of August: Father Hennepin Music in the Parks Schedule. Free Movies in the Parks are scheduled at the park every other Tuesday: July 25 (Italian Job), August 8 (Hoodwinked), August 22 (Mr. Right).
