Posted on 2 December, 2020Each year, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB)’s annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Living the Dream” Award has recognized people and organizations who demonstrate dedication and distinguished service to the park system and the lives of Minneapolis residents.
“Living the Dream” honorees embody Dr. King’s message of justice for all and commitment to community, and their actions reflect his teachings and legacy.
We invite everyone to submit nominations for this award. Nominations are due by Monday, Dec. 14 for consideration. For a full description of award criteria and to fill out a nomination form, please visit www.minneapolisparks.org/livingthedream, or call 612-230-6400.
Award recipients will be honored at the 2021 virtual celebration scheduled for Monday, January 18, 2021.
