Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board selects new president and vice president for 2020Posted on 3 January, 2020
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) held its annual meeting Thursday, Jan. 2, to elect officers for 2020. Commissioners elected Jono Cowgill as President and Latrisha Vetaw as Vice President.
President Cowgill and Vice President Vetaw began serving their four-year term on the Board in January 2018. Cowgill represents District 4 and Vetaw serves at large.
The Board elected Jennifer Ringold to serve as Secretary to the Board and law firm Rice, Michels & Walther as General Counsel.
Board meetings are typically held at 5 pm the first and third Wednesday of each month for Regular Meetings, with Committee of the Whole meetings scheduled as needed on the second Wednesday of the month. MPRB meeting agendas and related information are typically posted at http://minneapolisparksmn.iqm2.com/ the Friday preceding each Wednesday Board meeting.
