MPRB seeks nominations for the Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Living the Dream” Award

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB)’s annual Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. “Living the Dream” Award recognizes people and organizations who demonstrate dedication and distinguished service to the park system and the lives of Minneapolis residents.

“Living the Dream” honorees embody Dr. King’s message of justice for all and commitment to community, and their actions reflect his teachings and legacy.

MPRB invites everyone to submit nominations for this award. Nominations are due by Friday, Dec. 6 for consideration. For a full description of award criteria and to fill out a nomination form, visit www.minneapolisparks.org/livingthedream or call 612-230-6400.

Award recipients will be honored at annual Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Celebration, scheduled for January 20, 2020 from 6:30 to 8:00 pm.
