Adult Sports
Check out the links below to find an adult winter sports league that works for you:
Basketball
When: December 2019-March 2020
Leagues: Women’s Sundays at Northeast, Co-Ed Mondays at Harrison, Men’s Sundays at Farview and Tuesdays and Thursdays at Central
Season: Eight weeks of regular season games guaranteed, plus a two-week post-season tournament
Cost: $550-$600
Dodgeball
When: Sundays, January 5, 2020-March 1, 2020
Leagues: Co-Ed (Competitive or Rec) at Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Recreation Center
Season: Eight weeks, including tournament
Cost: $155
Indoor Volleyball
When: January-April
Leagues: Co-Ed Sundays-Thursdays at various locations, Open Sundays at Whittier, Women’s Thursdays at Kenwood
Season: 10 weeks scheduled, including tournament
Cost: $355
Pond Hockey
When: January-February
Leagues: Men’s Mondays and Thursdays, Women’s Tuesdays. All games at Lake Nokomis.
Season: Seven weeks scheduled
Cost: $275
Broomball
All broomball leagues scheduled for eight weeks, January-February 2020, and cost $350 per team. Season start, end, and length depend on weather and ice conditions.
Co-Ed Broomball
Where: Bryn Mawr, Logan, Matthews, McRae, Van Cleve, Windom NE
When: Sundays-Fridays, (locations vary depending on the day)
Leagues: Six-person and eight-person team leagues available
Men’s Broomball
Where: Bryn Mawr, Logan, Matthews, McRae, Van Cleve
When: Mondays-Fridays, (locations vary depending on the day)
Leagues: Six-person and eight-person team leagues available
Open (No Gender Requirements)
When/Where: Mondays at Van Cleve, Wednesdays at Bryn Mawr, Thursdays at McRae
Leagues: Eight-person teams
Women’s Broomball
When/Where: Tuesdays at McRae
Leagues: Eight-person teams
Register as a Free Agent
Are you an individual looking to get placed on a team? Register as a Free Agent. Your information will be passed along to teams needing players. If enough individuals register, an attempt will be made to organize a team from the Free Agent list.
Officials Needed!
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is always looking to hire more officials for any of the sports listed above! Earn extra cash and stay involved in the sports you love!

Recreation Fee Assistance
Minneapolis residents who cannot afford instructional fees because of economic need may apply for fee assistance through the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Fee Assistance Program.
