Celebrate girls and women playing golf with FREE golf or FREE clinics!
Women’s Golf Day is a one-day, three-hour event celebrating girls and women playing golf and learning skills that last a lifetime.
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board’s Play Golf Minneapolis courses are the only golf courses in the state hosting outdoor Women’s Golf Day events, with FREE Women’s Golf Day clinics, or a FREE 9-hole round (walking or riding on a cart) offered at six golf courses throughout Minneapolis: Columbia Golf Club, Fort Snelling Golf Club, Gross National Golf Club, Hiawatha Golf Club, Meadow Brook Golf Club, Theodore Wirth Golf Club.
Women’s Golf Day, Tuesday, June 5
5-7 pm
Participants have the option of:
2 hours of lessons – One hour on the driving range and one hour on chipping and putting
OR
2 hours of play – A 9-hole scramble or play their own ball, as long as the 9 holes can be completed in two hours.
7-8 pm
Socializing, networking and learn more about lessons and league play. Hear from speakers and ways to get involved in golf. Most importantly enjoy yourself, make new friends and have a great time.
