The MPRB is seeking to fill a vacant community position on the Homegrown Minneapolis Food Council. The Homegrown Minneapolis Food Council brings together key partners from local government, area businesses, community organizations, non-profits, and residents to build a healthy, local food system.

Food Council members attend lively and engaging monthly meetings held at various locations throughout Minneapolis, a commit to a term of two years beginning January 1, 2016. Members also actively contribute to working groups that address current food system issues in Minneapolis.
The Food Council is striving for diverse and balanced representation and is making efforts to ensure that concerns represented and addressed reflect the diverse viewpoints and interests of the Minneapolis community as a whole. Please apply and help to support our local food system!
