Theodore Wirth Beach parking lot, located at 3200 Glenwood Avenue, will be closed for the Minneapolis Youth Safety Camp.
August 3-5: 8 am-5 pm
Wirth Beach will also be closed to the public while participants of Safety Camp learn water safety skills.
August 4: noon-4 pm
Parking will be available along the north side of Glenwood Avenue. For questions, please call 612-230-6400.
Minneapolis Safety Camp is coordinated by the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board, Minneapolis Police, Minneapolis Park Police and the Minneapolis Fire DepartmentClosu teaching youth personal and social safety skills in a fun environment.
