You are invited to a public hearing, to be held at 6:30 PM on Wednesday, April 16th, regarding the proposed concept plan for playground improvements at Dickman Park. The hearing will be held in the Board Room of the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Headquarters at 2117 West River Road in Minneapolis.
The proposed concept plan was prepared by Minnesota Wisconsin Playground with guidance, over the course of three meetings, provided by MPRB staff and the residents of the St. Anthony West neighborhood. Additional input was received via an on-line survey. The proposed plan meets current standards for accessibility as mandated by the Americans with Disabilities Act, as well as safety guidelines as established by American Standards for Testing and Materials and the United States Consumer Product Safety Commission. The project webpage has been updated with information from the latest meeting held on April 1st.
Construction is planned for early summer 2014 and is expected to take 4 weeks.
