Special Event: Hip Herp Hooray

Celebration the autumn equinox with the start of fall reptile and amphibian migration! Learn about how reptiles and amphibians adapt to survive the chilly winter months ahead. Visit with live education animals such as turtles, snakes, and toads. Then, go in search of these creatures and the clues they leave behind on a herp hunt in the park.

This is a drop-in special event. Pre-registration is encouraged, but not required
– Children under 12 must be accompanied by a registered adult
Program is based out of Kroening Interpretive Center. Some activities take place outside. Please dress for the weather.
