Public Hearing for Hiawatha Golf Course Area Groundwater and Stormwater Pumping Project
A public hearing is scheduled Wednesday, July 19, 2017, 6:30 pm in the Board Room at Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) headquarters, 2117 West River Road North.
MPRB and City staff will present the water management evaluation to the Board of Commissioners at its meeting on July 12, 2017; no decision will be made at this meeting. A committee of the full Board of Commissioners will review staff’s water management recommendation at its July 19, 2017 meeting, after the public hearing. The full Board of Commissioners will consider the committee’s recommendation at its meeting on August 9, 2017.
Individuals who wish to speak at the hearing may call 612-230-6400 to sign up in advance or simply appear in person at the hearing. After the hearing, MPRB Commissioners will consider approval of the water management recommendation.
