Proposed trail alignment and event information meeting

Contingent on certain trail improvements, the World Masters Association awarded the Loppet Foundation and the MPRB a bid to hold the 2018 Masters World Cup at Theodore Wirth Regional Park. The Master’s World Cup is an international ski race that will attract visitors from around the world to the Twin Cities and Minneapolis will be the sixth US City to host the Masters World Cup Event. The contingent improvements at Wirth include the extension of trails to Twin Lake and Sweeney Lake in an area known as the “Back 40” of Theodore Wirth Regional Park.
