Matthews Park Pool and Playground Improvements Grand Opening Celebration

Celebrate the new pool and playgrounds at Matthews!

Please join Commissioner Scott Vreeland and your Matthews community as we celebrate the completed playground and field improvements and kick off the Kings Fair!

Two new playgrounds have been completed and third is in the works. The pool area was fully replaced and opened over the summer. Both the pool and playground were worn and had elements that needed to be upgraded to meet current safety and accessibility standards.

Grand opening festivities will include:

• Official ribbon cutting ceremony featuring your local officials and neighborhood leaders
• Balloon animals
• King’s Fair energy and activities

Look for the Showmobile in the field at 12pm. Hope to see you there!
