Irish Dance Party at the Nicollet Island Pavilion

We’re continuing our Dancing at the Pavilion series with Mactír Academy of Irish Dance—just in time to celebrate the spirit of St. Patrick’s Day!

Wear your favorite green and get ready to step, stomp, and shuffle to the lively rhythms of traditional Irish dance. Lessons are welcoming and beginner-friendly, with plenty to enjoy for seasoned dancers too. No fancy shoes needed—tennis shoes or soft-soled shoes work great.

Led by Mactír’s owner, directors, and head instructors, Emily and Ciara, the academy uses Irish dance as a vehicle to build confidence, discipline, and values—helping dancers develop lifelong qualities both on and off the dance floor.
