Fruit Tree Pruning at JD Rivers’ Garden

Learn a new skill and try your hand at fruit tree pruning at JD Rivers’ Garden in Theodore Wirth Park.
Come learn fruit tree pruning techniques from a U of MN extension educator and practice your newfound techniques on our apple, pear, plum, and cherry trees. Tools will be provided.
This event is for individual aged 18 and over. It will be entirely outdoors, so dress for the weather. If there is extremely cold or snowy weather forecasted, a backup date is scheduled for Saturday, March 7th from 10am-11:30am and you will be notified of the change via email by February 27th.
JD Rivers’ Garden is located at 2900 Glenwood Ave. Street parking is available along the south side of Glenwood Ave and perpendicular streets.
