Cedar Avenue Field Master Plan Open House and Design Workshop

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) will host a community open house and design workshop to review and discuss initial design ideas for Cedar Avenue Field Park.  This event will be held at the Southside Family Nurturing Center, 2448 18th Avenue South, Minneapolis, on February 8 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Food will be provided. Members of the public are welcome to attend any time between 6 and 8. There will be no formal presentation at any time.

This is the next step in a process to create a master plan for Cedar Avenue Field Park. This planning process is a continuation of the South Service Area Master Plan (SSAMP), which has been formally approved by the MPRB Commissioners (visit the project webpage for more information). The Cedar Field master plan will be amended into the SSAMP at the conclusion of the planning process, as called for in the SSAMP document.

After the workshop on the 8th, MPRB staff will refine the designs and bring a new concept back to the community for further discussion.
