Black History 365
Black History 365 is a production where youth from all around the Twin-Cities showcase their talent with a focus on the greatness of Black History. The event also puts an emphasis on how Black History should be celebrated year round. It will feature poetry, monologue reading, hip-hop, r&b, dance and visual arts. This event is a partnership between Hip-Hop, History and The Arts and Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board. It is hosted and produced by Chadwick Niles Phillips. It will take place on the stage in the Powderhorn Park gymnasium on March 22nd at 6pm. This event will feature performances by youth from the following locations:
- Sibley Park
- Harrison Park
- North Commons
- Folwell Middle School
- American Indian Magnet
- Special guest performers from other schools will be included as well.
This event is FREE and ALL AGES! We can’t wait for you to see what these amazing youth have been preparing. ALL are welcomed!
