Summer Fees Rec Plus 2026

Full Day care (7am-6pm)

Minneapolis Residents: $46/day
Non-Minneapolis Residents: $69/day

$30 non-refundable registration fee charged when your contract request is approved.

Before and After Summer School

Summer school rates are based on Minneapolis Public Schools summer school start and end times. Rates for other summer school locations may vary. 

Before summer school – 7am until school starts
Before summer school care: $10.00/day

After summer school – school ends – 6 pm
After summer school care: $17.50/day

Friday, May 22 is the deadline to withdraw without penalty (30-day notice).

Please note: Families are responsible for the set-up of transportation. If you have questions about your summer school transportation, please call 612-668-0730 or your school’s transportation office.

Webber, Harrison and Matthews Rec Plus locations will be operating as Fee-Optional sites for Minneapolis Residents. Fee options include 100%, 75%, 50%, 25%, or 0% of suggested price.

September 8, 2026 – June 11, 2027

School-age childcare for children in grades K-6 at recreation centers before and after school and on Minneapolis Public Schools release days.
Release Days are an option for children enrolled in the school year program. (Not all sites have the release day option. Rec Plus school year clients will be offered an alternate site.)

AM Early 7:00 – 8:40 am
Resident $10.00 per day
Non-Resident $15.00 per day

AM Late 7:00 – 9:40 am

After-School Rec Plus

PM Early 2:00 – 6:00 pm

Resident $23.50 per day
Non-Resident $35.25 per day

PM Late 3:50 – 6:00 pm
Resident $17.50 per day

School Release Days

Release Days are an option for children enrolled in the school year program. (Not all sites have the release day option. Rec Plus school year clients can sign up at any site.)

Resident: $46 per day (if signed up 14 days prior)
$56 per day (if signed up less than 14 days prior)
Non-Resident: $69 per day (if signed up 14 days prior)
