Looking for a program that fosters your child’s growth, builds their confidence, and introduces them to positive role models? Parkside Pathways offers a welcoming space for youth to learn, connect, and develop crucial skills in a fun and engaging setting. With consistent meeting times and enriching activities, it’s a valuable opportunity for your child’s development.
The Community Connection and Violence Prevention Department’s Parkside Pathways program offers a dynamic and supportive environment where youth aged 10-14 connect with positive adult mentors to explore education, careers, and essential life skills. Twice a month, at convenient park locations, young people engage in fun activities, group discussions, and build meaningful relationships with caring mentors. These engaging 2-hour sessions, led by dedicated volunteers, provide a blend of games, learning, and mentorship, with occasional exciting field trips enriching the experience.

Do you want to make a lasting impact on the lives of young people in your community? Become a Parkside Pathways mentor! We’re looking for enthusiastic adults to share their experiences and guide the next generation. With comprehensive training and a commitment of just a few hours a month, you’ll have the chance to build rewarding relationships, facilitate engaging activities, and help shape future leaders.
