The Community Connection and Violence Prevention Department’s Parkside Pathways program offers a dynamic and supportive environment where youth aged 10-14 connect with positive adult mentors to explore education, careers, and essential life skills. Twice a month, at convenient park locations, young people engage in fun activities, group discussions, and build meaningful relationships with caring mentors. These engaging 2-hour sessions, led by dedicated volunteers, provide a blend of games, learning, and mentorship, with occasional exciting field trips enriching the experience.
