Construction on the new skatepark began last September, with much of the work complete before it paused for the winter.
When construction resumes this spring, the work will include landscaping, lighting and decorative fencing. It’s expected that the entire project will be complete in May or early June, weather permitting.
The skatepark’s design reflects ideas and feedback shared by the community during the 2024 engagement process. You can view renderings online as part of the project page, or walk by the construction site at the park to see how it’s taking shape. (Please stay out of fenced construction areas for your safety and that of others.)
