In early November, the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) noted that that the project to construct an all-wheel park and other improvements at Folwell Park was nearly complete. There will be minor work in the park next spring once weather allows, including some landscaping and installation of picnic amenities.
We’d like to thank everyone who made this project possible – and thank the Folwell Park community for their patience during construction. MPRB is planning for a grand opening celebration in May 2026 and we’ll send more information when a date is confirmed.
In the meantime, enjoy Folwell Park and Folwell Recreation Center this winter!
