The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is holding a related public hearing on Wednesday, December 10 at 6:30 pm, as noted in the November 13 announcement about the final concept plan for Todd Park improvements [PDF].
The plan includes improvements to two ball diamonds, a sport court area, picnic area and additions to the recently improved playground. These improvements are planned to be constructed in 2026 and 2027.
Everyone is welcome to share comments on the plan during the public hearing, in person or by email; see details below.
Participate in the public hearing
The hearing is scheduled for Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at 6:30 pm in the Board Room at Mary Merrill Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board Headquarters at 2117 West River Road, Minneapolis.
All comments will be included in the public record of the hearing.
Share your comments in person: Go to MPRB Headquarters on the day of the hearing and add your name to the sign-up sheet at the front desk. You may also call 612-230-6400 before 3 pm on the day of the hearing to sign up to speak.
Email written comments: Send your comments to opentime@minneapolisparks.org by 3 pm on the day of the hearing.
