What’s Next?
After MPRB staff complete this round of community engagement and updates the final design, a public presentation of the East Phillips Park design and a public hearing will take place at a board meeting next year this winter or spring 2026. MPRB Commissioners will then vote to approve the plan.
Once the plan is approved, MPRB will move forward to construct some improvements from the plan. These will be identified based on community feedback, priorities and the project budget, with construction beginning as early as 2027.
