Grumpy Old Men: A Minnesota Classic on the Big Screen!
Get ready to laugh along with this cold-weather comedy classic! Join us on Sunday, February 19, at 3:30 pm inside the Nicollet Island Pavilion for a special screening of Grumpy Old Men—a beloved movie that showcases the quirks, charm, and snow-filled adventures of life in Minnesota.
This 1993 comedy stars Jack Lemmon and Walter Matthau as feuding neighbors whose antics keep us laughing while celebrating the warmth of friendship and family in the midst of winter. You’ll spot plenty of local filming locations, including Grumpy’s NE—the iconic local bar where humor unfolds—along with charming houses and frozen lakes that feel oh-so-familiar.
Doors open at 3:00 pm, and our venue partner, Mintahoe, will have movie snacks and an open bar for you to shop from.
Admission is free, and so is parking—so round up your friends, grab your winter gear, and come enjoy a Minnesota movie afternoon done right!
