Background: Farview Park Improvements
This new phase of improvements at Farview follows a series of investments made from 2017 to 2021, including:
-
-
- Conversion of former play areas to a flexible-use space and a new, consolidated play area with seating and landscaping
- Accessibility improvements in the parking lot, recreation center entry and the path between them
- Roof and siding replacements at the recreation center and a new heating and cooling system.
- These projects were prioritized for funding from the 20-Year Neighborhood Park Program (NPP20) based on racial and economic equity criteria and on the condition of park facilities and assets. (More on NPP20)
