The park system includes more than 50 wading pools throughout the city and three splash pads at Currie, Franklin Steele and Phelps parks. Check the map for locations near you.
- Daily hours at all open locations: 10am to 9pm
- Free to use
- No lifeguards: please keep safety in mind while enjoying the wading pools
- Final day of the season is Monday, September 2 (Labor Day holiday)
- Restrooms accessible outside recreation centers available during the same hours

Weather-Related Information
- Swimming pools, wading pools, and water parks open when the temperature is 65 degrees and higher.
- In the case of rain, swimming and wading pools remain open until the bottom of the pool is no longer visible.
- In the case of lightning, all people are required to stay out of the pool until 30 minutes after lightning has ended.
Pool Safety
- All MPRB pools are in compliance with current requirements.
- All MPRB pools are maintained and inspected on a daily basis, including inspection of the drain covers.
- MPRB is committed to park user safety. For many years we have worked directly with the City and State Departments of Health to ensure visitor safety at pools, and continue to do so.
