Bottineau Field Park is a neighborhood park allocated funding through the CIP to implement improvements that have been identified in Master Plan for the park. The Bottineau Field Park improvements have been conceptually approved in the 2019 East of the River Service Area Master Plan. That master plan can be found on its MPRB Park Care & Improvements Master Plan Page for the South Service Area under key documents, specifically Chapter 4 Park Plans A-B.
Project funding is available in 2023 to construct play area improvements, and additional funding is available in 2025 & 2026 to construct other outlined park improvements. This project will begin with prioritizing park improvements with the help of neighborhood and other stakeholders to meet the project budget. Engagement with stakeholders and community will begin in Winter 2023 to gather initial feedback and the consultant, once selected, will support MPRB staff with engagement with the community and stakeholders throughout the summer 2023.
MPRB staff and consultants are aiming to begin construction of the play area improvements in 2023 and complete construction of all other park improvements in 2025 & 2026.
