Although a cement shortage caused an earlier delay, construction on play areas and other improvements at Keewaydin Park is now moving along well.
The general contractor will continue work this fall until weather curtails daily operations. At this point, it’s expected that all grading work and installation of the climbing boulders and site concrete will be complete. The project site will be fenced while construction pauses for the winter.
Next spring, as soon as weather allows, the contractor will install play area equipment, safety surfacing and landscaping. Barring construction or weather delays, the project is expected to be complete in June.
Watch for further announcements, including a save-the-date for a grand opening!
