The Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) is pleased to announce a project to restore and improve the 28th Street Tot Lot Park to align with recommendations in the park’s Master Plan. Park improvements will include: a new play area, public art, naturalized landscaping and a skatepark. MPRB staff are partnering with City of Skate to design and build the new skatepark which will be a flexible space for trying out different skating techniques. All park improvements will meet current safety and accessibility standards.
Dates and times for community engagement opportunities coming soon. Please reach out to project staff with any questions or design ideas!
