Construction scheduled to begin April 25 and finish in early summer
Construction on a project to upgrade both play areas at Van Cleve Park is scheduled to begin April 25.
This project will replace outdated play equipment and surfacing with a variety of new play features and more resilient surfaces. Check out the Van Cleve Park Improvements concept plan drawings for more details.
The play areas and portions of park pathways will be closed to accommodate construction equipment while work is performed. Construction is expected to wrap up by the end of May.
Van Cleve Park’s improvements are planned based on the park’s master plan and the 2020 East of the River Master Plan that covers all neighborhood parks in Northeast/Southeast Minneapolis.
