With the concept plan for Van Cleve Park improvements approved during the summer, construction of lighting improvements adjacent to the railroad tracks is set to begin Monday, November 1. This work is weather dependent, and therefore may be finalized in the spring of 2022. A separate asset management project will re-pave the existing trail in 2022.
Construction activities will include:
- Re-feeding existing light poles with new LED fixtures
- The addition of new light poles & fixtures along the park trail
Undesirable soil conditions under the play area has led to the need for additional design work and documentation. The play area improvements are now set to begin first thing in spring 2022, with construction expected to last about 6 weeks.
