An improvements project is coming to Corcoran Park in south Minneapolis, and all community members are encouraged to participate in the planning and design process!
In the months to come, staff from the Minneapolis Park & Recreation Board (MPRB) will engage with the Corcoran Park community to discuss and prioritize park improvements, then design selected improvements. Construction is planned for summer 2022.
Improvements will be based on Corcoran Park’s approved master plan, developed in 2015/2016 as part of the South Service Area Master Plan for all neighborhood parks in the area.
The first step is an online community survey to gather input about potential park improvements and how they might be prioritized. The survey is open through June 25, 2021.
