The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) announces the release of an Revised Draft Predesign Report [PDF] for the Cedar-Riverside Recreation Center Predesign project. As noted in the January 11, 2021 project update, the revised draft report is the result of changes to the original draft report.
The Revised Draft Predesign Report [PDF] identifies Currie Park as the currently preferred location for a new recreation center in the Cedar-Riverside neighborhood and clarifies issues around that preferred location.
Additionally, a Summary of Changes [PDF] describes the revisions that were made, and a FAQ [PDF] provides responses to frequently asked questions about the changes.
New 45-Day Comment Period & Survey
Minneapolis community members, park users, MPRB staff and partners are encouraged to review the Revised Draft Predesign Report [PDF] and send feedback during a new 45-day comment period, which runs through Sunday, April 18, 2021.
