A Most Beautiful Thing (drive-in movie)
*Saturday’s drive-in movie is full, but for those that are registered, please check your email for more detailed info and driving directions for Saturday night.*
The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is hosting a drive-in movie at the Bohemian Flats area on West River Road. Space is limited, tickets are sold per vehicle and must be purchased in advance.
The sound for this movie will be played through an FM Transmitter. We will NOT have listening boxes similar to traditional drive-in movies. We highly recommend bringing a battery powered radio instead of using your car stereo.
A Most Beautiful Thing
The film chronicles the first African American high school rowing team in the nation (made up of young men from the West Side of Chicago, many of whom were from rival gangs, all coming together to row in the same boat.) Based on Arshay Cooper’s self- published memoir (to be republished by Flatiron on June 30 under the title, A Most Beautiful Thing).
