Beginner, Intermediate, Family and Intergenerational leagues available

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board is excited to announce new outdoor pickleball leagues starting up in July at Fuller and Kenny Parks! Details are below. Please register only one player from your team. Individuals looking for a partner should email fuller@minneapolisparks.org.
The skill level for Pickleball leagues is based on a 1-5 score, with 1 representing minimal knowledge and skill level, and a 5 representing high skill level and knowledge of game play.
Social Distancing
Upon registration for this program, participants agree to maintain social distance (six feet) at all times. Failure to do so will result in removal from the program. Participants will be asked to assist in putting away the equipment if they play the last match of the evening. More details will be provided prior to the first night of play.
Fuller Park
Beginner Doubles
Who: Adults ages 18+
Skill Level: 1-2
When: Tuesdays, 6-8:30 pm; July 7-Aug. 11
Where: Fuller Park, 4802 Grand Ave. S
Cost: $55/team ($83 non-Minneapolis residents)

Generation Gap
This is a fun, semi-competitive league for adults. Teams of two players must be at least 10 years apart – it’s the “Generation Gap” league! For example, an aunt and a nephew, or colleagues or neighbors from different generations, etc. Each team will play one match per week in a round robin format.
Who: Adults ages 18+. Teammates must be 10 years apart in age.
Skill Level: 2-4
When: Mondays, 6-8:30 pm; July 13-Aug. 17

Cost: $55/team ($83 non-Minneapolis residents)

Family League
This is a fun league for families. Teams of two players must consist of one adult and one child, ages 11-16. Each team will play one match per week in a round robin format.
Who: One adult 18+ and one teen or child ages 11-16 from the same family
Skill Level: 1-3
When: Thursday, 6-8:30 pm; July 16-Aug. 20
