The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board has been conducting public engagement over the last year and a half to develop a master plan for 43 neighborhood parks in Southwest Minneapolis. In July, appointed Community Advisory Committee (CAC) members voted to establish a subcommittee to further discuss the design concept released May 30th, 2019 for The Parade Park.
The first meeting of this subcommittee will be held Tuesday, August 13th, 6:00-8:00pm at Kenwood Park, 2101 W Franklin Ave. CAC Subcommittee meetings are open to the public. Light refreshments and self-directed children’s activities will be available.
