Register Now For Summer Adult And Youth Sailing Lessons At Lake Harriet

Have fun learning the basics of sailing. Participants learn the basics of sailing including tacking, gybing, knots, wind, boat rigging, and docking. Everyone gets to skipper the boat and trim the sails of a Lido 14 foot sailboat equipped with both a main and a headsail. Participants less than 18 years old are welcomed to enroll in the adult class when accompanied by a registered adult.

  • Lessons include four classes and each sailboat will have one coach with up to three students
  • Life jackets provided
  • Lessons held regardless of weather conditions
  • Walk-on registrations permitted 20 minutes after the start of the first lesson if a registered camper does not show
