Next week brings next steps for the new playground at North Commons Park
Posted on 23 February, 2024Play equipment is scheduled for delivery the week of February 26 at North Commons Park, following the removal of play equipment and site preparation last fall. The new equipment includes a large play structure, inclusive spinning features, slides for all ages and abilities, musical features and more.
Installation of the equipment will begin shortly after delivery, thanks to warmer weather this winter, and playground surfacing will follow once temperatures allow.
As construction continues, people are encouraged to use nearby playgrounds at Cottage Park, Glen Gale Park, Lovell Square Park and Willard Park. North Commons’ new playground is expected to be complete later in the spring.
