Online surveys close November 1

This summer the Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) launched the Minnehaha Parkway Regional Trail Master Plan! This project will set a vision and priorities for future park improvements and management along the trail for the next 20-30 years.

There are two ways to share your opinions on Minnehaha Creek and the trails and parkland lining the creek online:

Check out an exciting new opportunity called Social Pinpoint that allows people to geotag comments on a virtual map of the creek: Minnehaha Parkway Regional Trail Master Plan Social Pinpoint.

These surveys close Thursday, Nov. 1, 2018. Don’t worry, this is not the last chance to provide input on the plan.

Over the winter, the project design team will review all feedback received from public meetings, events, and online comments, and create draft concept drawings showing potential improvements along the trail.

The concept drawings will be published for public review and discussion in early 2019, then those concepts will be refined after park users have a chance to weigh in on the initial designs.
