CAC #4 meeting notes

Thank you to all of the community members who continue to work on the Mississippi Gorge Regional Park Master Plan. There are several opportunities coming up this month to share input on the project.

On Monday, July 16, 2018, a listening session is scheduled 3-4 pm at Coyle Community Center, 420 15th Ave. S.

Also on July 16, the Mississippi Gorge Regional Park Community Advisory Committee (CAC) Meeting #4 is scheduled 5:30-7:30 pm at Howe Elementary School, 3733 43rd Ave. S.

Finally, on Wednesday, July 18, an open house will be held 5-6 pm at the Danish American Center, 3030 West River Parkway.

All are welcome to attend these events to learn about the project, ask questions, and offer input, ideas, and feedback!

This project will create a new long-term plan for Mississippi Gorge Regional Park, which hosts about 3.7 million visitors annually, making it the third most-visited park in Minnesota. The park’s boundaries cover parkland on both sides of the Mississippi River from Bridge 9 (Dinkytown Greenway bridge) in the north to the St. Paul border (east side of the river) and Minnehaha Regional Park (west side) in the south.
