Check out the draft guiding language and initial park concepts and give feedback via online survey, virtual open houses, or in-person events planned through January 2022

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) is excited to share a draft of the vision, guiding principles and initial park concepts for the Cedar Lake-Lake of the Isles Master Plan!

Everyone is welcome to provide feedback on the guiding language and initial park concepts, whether you’ve been involved from the beginning or are just hearing about it for the first time. Public feedback on these drafts will be taken through at least January 2022.

Use the links below to view the concepts and share your thoughts via an online survey. Please keep in mind these are preliminary concepts and elements of each concept will likely be included in the final design.

CAC Meeting #7

A Community Advisory Committee (CAC) is used for every MPRB master planning project. They are made up of people appointed by MPRB commissioners and a selection committee comprised of MPRB staff and community partners. CAC members participate in regularly scheduled meetings and collectively make recommendations about the plan’s content. All CAC meetings are open to the public; notes from past Cedar-Isles Master Plan public meetings are linked below.

The next Cedar-Isles Master Plan CAC meeting is Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, 6-8 pm. At that meeting, CAC members will discuss prominent topics and issues identified through community feedback.
