Public Hearing To Be Held Regarding Improvements to Van Cleve Park Wading Pool

The Minneapolis Park and Recreation Board (MPRB) will hold a public hearing on Wednesday, May 7th at 6:30 pm to review the proposed renovation plan for improvements to the wading pool at Van Cleve Park. All those attending the public hearing will have an opportunity to review the plans and share their comments. If you are interested in speaking at the hearing, you may signup to speak just prior to the hearing. If you require language translation or other accommodations, please call (612) 230-6472 at least two business days prior to the hearing.

The wading pool, located in the Como Neighborhood of SE Minneapolis, was constructed in 1948 and the latest improvements occurred around 1971, with upgrades being made to pool mechanical systems. Two community meetings were held last month so that residents could provide input with regard to the improvements. Additionally, an online survey also gave interested parties a chance to provide input.
